What Qualitas Will Bring to the RCGP Conference

Qualitas is thrilled to participate in the RCGP Annual Conference, where we’ll be presenting two insightful academic posters that reflect our commitment to improving general practice and supporting healthcare professionals.

Poster 1: Reducing the Likelihood of Partner Burnout Through Improved Governance

Effective governance is essential for the success of primary care organisations, yet many practices struggle with it. In fact, 20% of surveyed practices express dissatisfaction with their governance processes. Our first poster delves into partners’ experiences, examining how governance impacts their workload and stress levels. By highlighting the connection between efficient governance and partner retention, we aim to underscore the importance of creating supportive structures that enable partners to thrive, especially in the face of increasing demands and burnout.

Poster 2: The Impact of Organisational Culture on Workforce Wellbeing and Retention in General Practice

In the wake of rising staff turnover, prioritising staff engagement and wellbeing has never been more crucial. Our second poster presents insights from a comprehensive bi-annual staff survey conducted over the last two years. By analysing this data, we uncover trends in job satisfaction and retention intentions among GP staff across England. This research not only identifies key factors that contribute to a positive work environment but also offers practical recommendations for partners to foster change without significant financial investment.

We invite you to explore our posters and engage with us on these important topics at the conference. Your feedback and insights can help us shape a healthier future for general practice.

Join the Conversation

We warmly invite all attendees to stop by our posters and engage in discussions about these vital topics. Your thoughts and experiences are invaluable as we explore ways to improve governance and workforce wellbeing in general practice.

We’re also excited to share that the Qualitas Staff Survey will be launching in October 2024, right after the conference. This upcoming survey aims to deepen our understanding of organisational culture and workforce wellbeing, offering practices key insights to drive meaningful improvements.
