We are required periodically to update NHS England around the skills sets of our team delivering the Accelerate programme. In readiness for this, please see the list we have to provide to them. Don’t worry – we don’t expect you to have experienced using all these tools but this will help flag to us which resources to signpost you to in readiness for your delivery.

The Accelerate programme delivered by the 4 delivery partners (of which Qualitas is one) is part of a programme of work delivered by the Primary Care Transformation Team (PCTT) at NHS England. It is worth being aware at a high level about the other parts of the programme so that you can flag to the NHS E Development Advisor (DA) for your practice/s if you think they might be relevant options for your practice/s.

No awareness or knowledgeI've heard of it but couldn't explain itI could explain this broadly but not with confidenceI can confidently describe this

It’s getting nearer to the start of your first delivery sessions, we hope you’ve managed to access the resources available to you. For the first few weeks the focus is on ‘Smoothing patient flow’ (SPF) so please can you confirm you have reviewed the training material on this and have signed up to the relevant web forums/sites:*

Please do contact us if you have any questions about your forthcoming delivery.

Don’t worry – we don’t expect you to have experienced using all these tools but this will help flag to us which resources to signpost you to in readiness for your delivery. You won’t need to use these tools until we get into the delivery of the Accelerate modules (after the SPF module) so you have plenty of time to prepare.

The following areas also apply once you have completed the Accelerate element of the programme – but worth familiarising yourself with ahead of your first modules after the SPF element of the programme. Again – don’t worry, you won’t have experienced these yet so at this stage this for our reference so we know how we can support you as we move forward in the programme.

Read each statement quickly and put a 'Y' in the white cell if that statement DEFINITELY applies to you. Put a "N" in the column if you disagree with the statement or if it isn't totally true for you. Remember, the test will only be accurate if you are honest with yourself - so complete the test based on what you actually think and feel, not on how you think you should or want to feel or behave.
