Dr Tony Naughton: 

  • GP and senior partner at The Thornton Practice, rated outstanding by CQC with 13,000 patients and about 40 staff

  • Founded Fylde and Wyre CCG and served as Chief Executive from 2012 to 2019. This CCG was one of only 10 rated outstanding by NHS England and had a budget of £300 million

  • Now works with the Lancaster University as a senior clinical advisor on the development of its Health Innovation Campus. Awarded an honorary fellowship in 2019
Amy Sissons, The Thornton Practice

Amy Sissons: 

  • Experienced senior leader with a history of business change and transformation projects in both the public and private sectors including healthcare, education and IT
  • Currently NHS Business Practice Manager in a CQC Outstanding Practice (2018); Highly Commended at the National General Practice Awards (2019)
  • Senior role in a Primary Care Network providing strategic support to Clinical Directors

Melanie Thomas:

  • Over 15 years’ experience in medical accounting

  • Specialist knowledge of the healthcare sector coupled with a background in mergers and acquisitions

  • Special interest in GP federations, practice mergers and restructuring. Also involved in providing financial training for GP registrars
