Pathway to Partnership Cohort 1, day 3

On the 22nd September 2021 we ran day 3 of our Pathway to Partnership development programme on Strategy.It was so nice to be joined by so many participants in person as well as our virtual participants and it is wonderful to hear all your comments throughout the day. It really makes us strive to deliver the programme that you want and are so grateful for your feedback knowing that we are achieving what we set out to do.Qualitas’ own Caroline Hine and Steve Burrows started of the day, setting the framework or values, culture and vision, sharing examples of work we have completed within general practice, helping practices with their own personal strategies.Topics were discussed in breakout groups  including ‘what is organisational culture’, ‘how do you feel about the culture in your practice at the moment’ and ‘how do I influence culture at my practice’We was then joined by Peter Tinson, Chief Operating Officer at Fylde Coast CCGs and Director of collaborative commissioning in Lancashire and South Cumbria ICS.Peter talked to about Strategy and Strategic Planning within General Practice and the wider organisations. Looking at the importance of knowing ‘what’s going on outside the practice and within your community, your neighbouring practice, your CQC, NHSE&I, PCN, ICS and Place’ before looking at ‘what’s going on inside the practice’ 4.8/5Wow! we are blown away that you have given us an average rating of 4.8 stars for Strategy day 1.
